IT'S GOING TO BE HOT TODAY. Highs are reaching levels beyond 95ºF, Eastern Time. I'll be glad I added a mix-in to the water bottle.

The seams are peeling away from the edges and there are bubbles forming in the middle. There is so much heat.

The pizza begins to char beautifully in places where the heat isn't insulated by toppings. Some of the toppings begin to char. Cheese will break character and act from an emboldened sense of its potential. The pizza isn't a thing we normally have sound bites of, but the ingredients of the pizza begin to make a sound when exposed to these levels of heat. The grease just kind of collects itself and gets really hot, and since it won't evaporate, it just kind of teams up and rages.

An attempt is being made to remove an old bumper sticker. The edges kind of chip rather than peel. It evades removal. Due to the age, the polymers in the adhesive and the film of the sticker itself have lost elasticity. They can't be easily removed. So we must re-polymerize the sticker briefly in some way, or impart elasticity once more, then scrape the off the remains.

Heat works. A blow torch. Warm oil works, but hot oil works better. The adhesive will release.

Start out early today if you can! Avoid the hottest parts of the day! Drink reasonable amounts of water! Be visible! Be vigilant! "Change is on the way," is the only true Business Promise!
